This website will provide everything you need to know about the Air Transport Auxiliary, a civilian service formed during the outbreak of WWII that was tasked with the delivery of aircraft from factories to the squadrons of the RAF and Royal Navy and the delivery of supplies. Featuring pilots exempt from wartime service due to health, age and gender they gained a reputation for being able to take anything to anywhere.
The website will include a searchable database of all personnel who served with the A.T.A. with information being added over time as the system builds.
